2019 - Acadia Divinity College dedicates renovated building with acknowledgement of the land

In 2019, a formal acknowledgement of the land was a central part of the dedication ceremony for Acadia Divinity College’s newly renovated building. Local Indigenous leaders were invited to share in the day, leading those gathered in ceremony. A permanent land acknowledgement plaque is now displayed in the building foyer.
