2026 - ADC continues taking intentional steps toward decolonization and right relationship

As part of its ongoing efforts to decolonize its thinking, curriculum, and institutional practice, ADC has recently revised MDiv program outcomes to better integrate Indigenous ways of knowing and introduced a new MDiv specialization in Indigenous Studies. A micro-credential on “Faithful Neighbouring in a Post-TRC Canada” provides an important learning opportunity for alumni and ministry leaders. An outdoor learning space, designed in consultation with Mi’kmaq Elders, is now under construction adjacent to the building. And through an agreement signed with the University’s Office of L’Nu Affairs and Indigenization, the College has committed to material accountability as we continue to pursue right relationship with the Indigenous communities around us.
