Sharon White joined the Acadia Divinity College staff in May 2026, as the Coordinator of Hospitality, combining front-of-house hospitality with coordination of building care, events support, and practical administrative assistance.

Sharon brings with her a rich range of ministry and caregiving experience to this role. Her recent positions include serving as pastor of Rossway United Baptist Church (2020–2021), Interim Youth Outreach Worker at Turning the Tide in Digby (2022), and a Care Partner with Marketplace Care Canada in Amherst (2023–2026).

Throughout her work and volunteer service, Sharon has served both the church and the wider community. She is currently an active firefighter in the process of joining a Valley Dept., and has also served with fire departments in Kentville, Windsor, Digby, and Amherst. From 2014 to 2022, she was the Chaplain for the Digby Fire Department. She is also a member of the Nova Scotia Provincial Fire Service Critical Incident Stress Management team, a role she has held since 2020. While living in Digby, she served as the Digby County Canadian Baptists of Atlantic Canada (CBAC) Syrian Refugee Co-coordinator from 2015 to 2021.
