Dr. Marion Carson
Marion Carson lives in Glasgow, Scotland where she serves as Pastoral Support Co-ordinator for Glasgow City Mission. A former psychiatric nurse, she holds a PhD in New Testament Studies from Glasgow University. She is an associate lecturer at the Scottish Baptist College, Adjunct Faculty at the International Baptist Theological Study Centre in Amsterdam, and is an Honorary Fellow of New College, University of Edinburgh. Her research interest is Biblical Hermeneutics for Pastoral Practice in which she brings together the two disciplines of Biblical Studies and Pastoral Theology. She is the author of The Pastoral Care of People with Mental Health Problems (SPCK 2008) and Human Trafficking, the Bible and the Church: An Interdisciplinary Study (Wipf & Stock 2016; SCM 2017).
