Dr. Jeff Bailey has been teaching at Acadia Divinity College since 2025. He’s a clinical psychologist with over a decade of experience in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia, where he works in both the public and private sectors. With Nova Scotia Health, he’s an educator, supervisor, and consultant who trains mental health professionals in evidence-based treatment methods. In private practice, he helps clients with various issues.

Jeff is a proud Atlantic Canadian. He grew up in small town Cape Breton and studied at Cape Breton University, Acadia University, and the University of New Brunswick, earning his BScH, MSc, and PhD in Clinical Psychology. After two years of studying at Acadia, he and his wife fell in love with the Annapolis Valley and decided to return and settle here to raise their young daughter.

Jeff is excited about the opportunity to mentor ministry students and impart his knowledge in evidence-based counselling. When he’s not busy, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, heading out for a leisurely run, indulging in a good book, or playing video games with his daughter.
