Rev. Dan Pyke serves with the Canadian Baptists of Atlantic Canada (CBAC) as the Director of Youth & Family Ministries.  In partnership with this role, he directs and lectures within ADC’s Next Generation Ministry program.  Previously, Dan served as a pastor in CBAC churches in Grand Bay-Westfield, NB, Douglas, NB, and Upper Canard, NS in roles focused on youth and children’s ministries.

Dan followed God’s invitation into vocational ministry out of high school, and completed an undergraduate degree at Crandall University.  He remained on staff at the university for a few years before beginning studies at Acadia Divinity College.  He earned his Master of Divinity in 2011 and his Master of Arts (Theology) in 2012.  Dan completed the Arrow Leadership Program in 2016.

Dan is passionate to see all generations within the Church participating in God’s mission.  He believes the Church has much to learn from youth and children, and advocates for their voices to be heard.  He enjoys equipping young leaders to hear and respond to God’s invitations.

With his family, Dan spends a lot of time appreciating God’s creation through camping and hiking.  Dan is married to Lachelle and they have four children: Rhailyn, Kendrick, Della, and Denton.  They live in Grand Bay-Westfield, NB.
