As the Manager of Recruitment and Admissions for Acadia Divinity College, Catherine acts as a guide for all prospective students – answering any questions about the College or our programs, giving tours of the Acadia University campus, and walking applicants through the admission process. She also leads the Admissions Committee in admission decisions. Catherine is here to help in any way she can. If you have any questions about Acadia Divinity College, she is only a phone call or email away.
Raised in Minto, New Brunswick, Catherine has a strong desire to equip and enable the next generation to lead. She has volunteered in youth ministry in three Atlantic Canadian churches: United Baptist Church of Minto (Minto, NB), West End Baptist Church (St. John’s, NL), and Immanuel Baptist Church (Truro, NS). Catherine has also provided leadership as Vice-President of the Atlantic Baptist Youth Executive, as a member of the Springforth planning team and of the Canadian Baptists of Atlantic Canada (CBAC) Youth and Family Working Group.
Catherine’s passion for people also extends globally. She has led two short-term mission teams to Kenya to serve at Kamp Tumaini in partnership with Canadian Baptist Ministries (CBM) and CBAC. Kamp Tumaini, a Guardians of Hope program by CBM, seeks to help families and communities affected by HIV/AIDS.
Catherine is a nomad at heart and loves to explore new places and cultures. She is also an avid reader, wannabe photographer, food aficionado, board games buff, and self-proclaimed nerd.
Catherine has a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the Memorial University of Newfoundland Labrador.
