As our part-time Communications Coordinator, Carley Lee helps tell the ADC story in new and creative ways.

Originally from Vancouver Island, Carley moved to the East Coast in 2020 after spending six years in Oxford, U.K. Before moving to England, Carley worked at a local church in Nanaimo, B.C. as Youth Director and later as Communications and Administrative Director.

While in Oxford, she gained experience in PR and Marketing at a local PR agency, and in Communications and administrative support at Oxford University. Carley served a local church in various volunteer roles, which included managing social media accounts, mentoring, and overseeing the worship team.

Carley has an Undergraduate Diploma in Creative Writing from Oxford University, and an MA in Writing for Young People from Bath Spa University. She completed her MA as a Scholar in Residence at the Kilns C.S. Lewis Study Centre, and though she never managed to find the way to Narnia, she did find inspiration at Lewis’ desk while working on her first children’s novel.

An avid reader, writer, and coffee-shop enthusiast, Carley works remotely from Moncton, New Brunswick, where she lives with her husband and a wonderfully foolish ginger cat named Pippin.
