As Administrative Assistant to the Registrar, Andrea works in Student Services to answer questions about program requirements, course registration, access to services, auditing, bursary applications, and liaising with partner programs. She also helps coordinate Orientation and Commissioning at the beginning and end of the academic year. She guides newly accepted students through the processes of setting up network access and getting students familiar with the MyAcadia, and Self Serve software. She is happy to assist and only a phone call or e-mail away.
Andrea was born in Montreal and moved to Fredericton, New Brunswick when she was a child. Over the years she has been part of vacation bible school and children’s ministries at various churches in Moncton, Fredericton, and Saint John. Professionally, Andrea has worked at three other universities as Registrar, Director of Student Services and Associate Registrar. She moved to the Annapolis Valley in 2018 with her husband, Mark, and daughter, Chloe. You will often find her at the Acadia pool volunteering for the local swim team, or on the volleyball court at Wolfville School coaching the girls’ volleyball team.
Andrea loves food and dabbles in specialty cake creations in her free time. She spends lots of time on trails walking her dog and enjoys spending time outdoors golfing & biking.
Andrea has a Bachelor of Commerce from Mount Allison University, a Diploma in Information Technology from ITI and a Records Management Diploma from NBCC.
