TIMELINE

May 2018 – The Board of Trustees of Acadia Divinity College (ADC) launched a search committee to fill the role of the 7th President and Dean of Theology.

August 2018 – The Board of Trustees announced the members of the Presidential Search Committee

October 2018 – The Committee will seek input from various constituents as an important first step. Sessions will be held with faculty and staff, and with other constituents in various locations, yet to be identified, throughout Atlantic Canada.

November 2018 – The position description for Acadia Divinity College President will be presented to the College’s Board of Trustees for their approval, and it will be posted by November 16, 2018.

January 2019 – The Committee will begin reviewing applications by January 8, 2019.

July 2019 – The successful candidate will become the 7th President and Dean of Theology.

SEARCH COMMITTEE

On May 3, 2018, the Board of Trustees of Acadia Divinity College (ADC) launched a search committee to fill the role of the 7th President and Dean of Theology. The Committee is comprised of six members as follows:

Three members of the Board of Trustees:
  1. Dr. Malcolm Card, Moncton, New Brunswick
  2. Goldye L. Smith, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia
  3. Kathy Watt, Fredericton, New Brunswick
The Executive Minister of Canadian Baptists of Atlantic Canada:
  1. Dr. Peter Reid
Two members of Acadia Divinity College Faculty:
  1. Dr. Dorothy Hunse, Assistant Professor of Pastoral Care
  2. Dr. Stephen McMullin, Academic Dean and the Sheldon and Marjorie Fountain Associate Professor of Evangelism and Mission

Mrs. Kathy Watt will serve as the chair of the Committee.
