Andrew D. MacRae Centre for Christian Faith and Culture

The church needs to respond to an ever-changing world.

Divinity College 110 copy-w2000-h1500We are called to help students, alumni, congregations, and others in ministry to navigate Christian life and thought through the complexities of today’s world.

Addressing the complicated issues that emerge from all directions requires knowledge, wisdom, engaged theological thinking, and skill in applying biblical principles to our contemporary culture.

The new Andrew D. MacRae Centre for Christian Faith and Culture will be ADC’s focus for helping students and the wider church engage with people and issues in meaningful, thoughtful, relevant, and transformative ways.

The MacRae Centre will accomplish this in three specific areas:

  1. Resources – The MacRae Centre will create, collect, and distribute a wide range of articles and various resources to better inform and equip Christians to engage with issues of faith and culture.
  2. Courses and Programs – The MacRae Centre will launch new courses and degree specializations to prepare practitioners and academics to lead the church in an ever-changing world.
  3. Research – The MacRae Centre will be a hub of research and publishing as well as a forum for engaging Christian ethics and other issues that emerge as we experience rapid growth in technology, shifting cultural values, and new global realities.

We need to create a Centre for Christian Faith and Culture to help Christians engage the world, and the world to engage Christian life and thought.
