Intercultural Ministries
Ministry today takes place in communities shaped by cultural diversity, migration, global Christianity, religious plurality, and complex social realities. Christian leaders need the ability to listen well, communicate faithfully, and serve across difference with humility and courage.
The Intercultural Ministries specialization prepares students for ministry in diverse churches, communities, and public contexts. You will engage World Christianity, theology in pluralistic contexts, preaching, public theology, advocacy, racial justice, and ministry across difference, while developing practical skills for intercultural and intergenerational ministry.
At Acadia Divinity College, this specialization will help you grow as a leader who can build bridges, cultivate belonging, speak and act with love and justice, and participate in the mission of God in local and global contexts, with particular attentiveness to the changing realities of Atlantic Canada.
