Biblical Studies
The Master of Arts (Theology) in Biblical Studies provides a path of advanced study in the scriptures and the biblical world, often in preparation for doctoral studies. Students who enter the MA in Biblical Studies will choose an area of concentration in (1) the Hebrew Bible, (2) New Testament, or (3) Second Temple Judaism. Each concentration will introduce students to the academic field of study, provide advanced language courses for engaging the biblical text in the primary language(s), and work towards advanced research and writing, culminating in a written thesis.
