Acadia Divinity College is pleased to announce the appointment of Melissa (Mel) Evans as Manager of Recruitment and Marketing.

Beginning Monday, May 25, 2026, Mel will serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students, supporting them from initial inquiry through enrollment. She will also lead communications efforts that support recruitment and strengthen ADC’s brand across print, digital, web, and social media platforms.

Mel graduated from the University of King’s College with a Bachelor of Journalism (Hons.) and brings experience in journalism, television production, ministry leadership, marketing, and client relations. Her previous work with Spin Master Inc., DHX Media, and Ocean Entertainment included content development, script writing, production coordination, and cross-team collaboration on internationally recognized projects. Most recently, Mel worked as a licensed REALTOR®, and served as Worship Leader at Deep Water Church in Halifax, where she led worship teams and supported weekly services, youth programming, and community gatherings.

Reflecting on her appointment, Mel shared: “My various roles look different on the surface but share common threads: a deep interest in the human experience, an ear to hear someone’s story, and a desire to help them discern and tell the next chapter. I look forward to doing that creatively and relationally within the faith-filled community of Acadia Divinity College.”
