Spiritual Formation Fund

Spiritual formation is at the heart of Christian leadership. It is the slow, holy work of God transforming us to be more like Jesus. In a time when our culture is marked by acceleration, distraction, and deepening polarization, the Church cannot afford to assume that formation will “just happen.” Without intentional formation in the likeness of Christ, we risk mirroring the world around us and losing our identity as God’s called and gathered people. 

At Acadia Divinity College, formation is not an add-on to theological education. It is woven into the common life of our community. It takes shape through prayer, worship, mentoring relationships, retreats, learning, and shared rhythms that cultivate integrity, humility, courage, empathy, and a deep attentiveness to God. When we invest in formation, we invest in leaders who can extend grace under pressure, listen across divides, and serve with wisdom and hope in a changing world. 

That is why we are establishing the Spiritual Formation Fund. This new endowed fund will provide students with access to impactful formation opportunities, including spiritual retreats, enriching resources, and community formation events.
