Continuing Educaiton Support
Acadia Divinity College is committed to supporting lifelong learning and ongoing ministry development. Financial assistance is available both for students participating in continuing education programs and for Acadia Divinity College graduates pursuing doctoral studies.
Students affiliated with the Canadian Baptists of Atlantic Canada who are enrolled in continuing education offerings at Acadia Divinity College are automatically considered for the ADC Continuing Education Bursary.
In addition, graduates pursuing advanced theological studies may apply for the Armstrong-Whitehouse Post-Graduate Bursary and the Pancorvo Doctoral Fellowship, which support doctoral-level education and research.
Award amounts will vary based on annual fund availability.
Avaliable Funds
ADC Continuing Education Bursary
Income from a trust fund established by the Atlantic Baptist Foundation. Income provides financial assistance to students affiliated with the Canadian Baptists of Atlantic Canada, enrolled in continuing education offerings at Acadia Divinity College.
Armstrong-Whitehouse Post-Graduate Bursary
Income from a trust fund established by Reverends Gregory and Dr. Ida Armstrong-Whitehouse. Income provides financial assistance to graduates of Acadia Divinity College pursuing further theological studies at the doctoral (Ph.D.) level at a recognized institution.
Pancorvo Doctoral Fellowship
Income from a trust fund established by the Pancorvo family is to be awarded to a graduate of Acadia Divinity College with a Master of Divinity degree who is enrolled in a doctoral program in biblical studies (PhD or equivalent).
Application
To apply for financial support, please fill out the form below. Include the name of the institution and the degree you are enrolled in.
You are also required to provide proof of enrolment as part of the application. Proof of enrolment should include your name, the name of the institution, program name, active term, dates of study and your enrolment status. Acceptance letters are not a valid proof of enrolment.
