All students are automatically considered for a wide range of scholarships, prizes, and awards.
What you need to know:
- You are automatically considered – No separate application required
- The funds are limited in number and competitive by nature.
- These funds are based on academic achievement, ministry involvement, leadership, or other established criteria.

Types of Support
Entrance Scholarships
Academic achievement before you arrive
- $500-$1000 (approximately)
- Recognize strong academic achievement in a previous degree
- Awarded for one academic year (not renewable)
- Eligible students are automatically considered on the first day of the academic year
Scholarships
Academic achievement while you study
- Amounts vary
- Recognize academic excellence and other qualifying achievements demonstrated during a student’s studies at Acadia Divinity College
- Students are automatically considered based on their academic year’s performance and any additional criteria established by donors
- Awards are assessed in the spring and applied to the following academic year
Prizes & Awards
Recognition for excellence in specific courses and disciplines
- celebrate outstanding achievement in specific courses, disciplines, or areas of study
- Typically presented at the end of the academic year
- May include a cash prize, recognizing students who have distinguished themselves through academic excellence, leadership, or other notable accomplishments
