The Opportunity
Position |
We are seeking a Manager of Recruitment and Marketing, a key role in advancing the College’s mission of preparing faithful, adaptive leaders for the church and the world. |
Position Type |
Full-Time. The initial contract is for three years. Additional terms may be renewed based on an employment review process. |
Work Schedule |
This position will include some evenings and weekends. |
Location |
Flexible. Candidate must be able to work at agreed times from the Acadia Divinity College building. |

Salary |

What You’ll Do
Responsibilities
The Manager of Recruitment and Marketing has the primary responsibility for student recruitment, supported by integrated leadership in communications, branding, and digital engagement. The successful candidate will be relational, proactive, and deeply motivated by helping individuals discern and respond to God’s call to ministry and Christian service.
Reporting to the President and working closely with faculty and staff, the Manager of Recruitment and Marketing will:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment strategy for ADC’s programs
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students, accompanying them from initial inquiry through application and enrollment, and helping them discern vocational direction
- Build strong relationships with churches, pastors, denominational bodies, and partner institutions
- Represent ADC publicly through church visits, events, conferences, and recruitment travel in Atlantic Canada and beyond
- Lead communications efforts that support recruitment and strengthen ADC’s brand, including print, digital, website, and social media engagement
- Manage and support the work of the Communications staff
- Initiate creative and innovative approaches to telling ADC’s story and expanding its reach
What You’ll Need
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will bring:
- A strong understanding and experience of theological education and the life of the church
- Demonstrated training and/or experience in recruitment, communications, marketing, or related fields
- Excellent interpersonal, public speaking, and written communication skills
- Familiarity with appropriate technology
- Enthusiasm for engaging people both face-to-face and through digital platforms and social media
- Ability to guide prospective students in discerning a call to ministry and exploring diverse forms of Christian service
- Initiative, adaptability, and the capacity to manage multiple responsibilities with independence and collaboration
- Willingness to travel, including some evenings and weekends

Acadia Divinity College
Acadia Divinity College (ADC) is located in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral territory of the Mi’kmaq nation, and seeks to walk in a good way with the Indigenous peoples of Canada. ADC is a warmly evangelical seminary located on the campus of Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, Canada.
