Interpreting the New Testament
Designation: BIBL 5033This course will introduce the student to the different sections and genres of literature in the New Testament, to interpretative methods appropriate to them, and to theological principles. The course will also survey the world of Jesus and the early Christian Church. This course assumes knowledge of the contents of the New Testament, and is the foundation for advanced studies.
Recommended Prior Study
- Students wishing to enroll in BIBL 5033 must first pass the Bible Knowledge Exam or enroll in BIBL 5013 Survey of the Bible (which may be taken concurrently with BIBL 5033).
