Biblical Aramaic

Designation: ARAM 7013

This course will introduce students to the grammar, syntax, and vocabulary of the Aramaic of the Old Testament. Building off the basics of Hebrew grammar, students will learn the basic grammar and vocabulary of Biblical Aramaic. As part of this course, students will translate portions of the Aramaic sections of Daniel and Ezra.
