Certificate in Christian Studies
Build your foundation of knowledge in Biblical Studies, Theology, Christian History, and Practical Ministry within a rich community of faith. The Certificate in Christian Studies (CCS) will equip you to be an effective volunteer leader in your church or ministry and can be the first step towards our Bachelor of Theology degree.
At completion, the Certificate is awarded by Acadia Divinity College at our annual Commissioning Service.

Course Load Options: Full-time (3 or more courses per semester**) and part-time (1-2 courses per semester)

Those applying to the Certificate in Christian Studies normally have a high school diploma, or equivalent, with five Grade 12 academic courses, including English 12 (or equivalent), and a minimum overall average of 70%.
A grade point of 2.00 is necessary for each course in order for that course to apply toward the Certificate.

Bursaries:
- All students (incoming and returning) are encouraged to apply for financial aid
- Amounts vary dependent on level of study and course load:
- Undergraduate full-time: $2,120.50 per year
- Undergraduate part-time: $235 per course
College Assistantships:
- Canadian and international students are welcome to apply for various College Assistantships for each academic year. Remuneration varies depending on the position.
