ADC Partners with Maritime Camps!
Acadia Divinity College is well known for investing in the lives of Christian leaders. This summer ADC will make a unique investment that will impact the lives of children and youth around the Maritimes as it establishes a summer partnership with eight Christian camps:
New Brunswick
Nova Scotia
Prince Edward Island
Keith Blair, a Master of Divinity student at ADC, has been hired for the summer to represent the College by serving approximately one week at each camp. Originally from Toronto, Keith will have the opportunity to witness the beauty of the Maritime Provinces as he travels to camps located in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. He will often be the special speaker for the week at the camps; however, he will arrive ready to serve in whatever capacity is most needed.
When this unique partnership was proposed to the directors of each camp, Keith’s entire summer was scheduled within three days.
As part of this summer ministry position, Keith will also represent Acadia Divinity College at the East to West Christian Music Festival in Shediac as well as Oasis in Moncton.
During the academic year, Keith serves as the part-time Pastor of Youth and Family Ministries at the Alton Churches just outside of Kentville, Nova Scotia, and he is a member of the ADC Student Association. Prior to moving to Nova Scotia to study at ADC, Keith completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at York University and also served as the Youth Ministries Intern for Canadian Baptists of Ontario and Québec. He has a total of eight years of leadership experience in children and youth ministry.
Acadia Divinity College is excited about this summer partnership and is grateful for the grant received through the Canada Summer Jobs program to partially fund this summer position.
