7:00 PM ADT: The Celebration Begins
Join us for this year’s Zeman Lecture by Dr. Gary Waite: “The Use and Misuse of Dutch Anabaptism by Opponents of English Baptists, Independents, and Quakers, c. 1560-1660.”
This evening we will also recognize past ACBAS leaders and launch an exciting new ACBAS initiative.
Tuesday, September 21
10:30 AM ADT: Baptist and Anabaptist Treasures
Discover the treasures of the Acadia University Archives and Special Collections through the launch of this digital exhibit. You’ll view important records and rare books related to Baptist and Anabaptist history, especially in Atlantic Canada.
11:45 AM ADT: Panel Discussion
Join us for a stimulating panel discussion on “Do Denominational Labels Matter in Today’s World?” Panelists include Rhonda Britton, Kyle Gingerich Hiebert, Gordon Heath, and Sarah Scott. A pizza lunch will be provided for students who watch the panel at ADC.
